all ready for departure! great view over the Pennines we spotted the Red Arrows practising far below us Don't think we'll try eating this! The museum at Gross Raden was the hilight of day one in Germany its a reconstruction of a Slavic village with some impressive earthworks! wouldn't want to meet him on a dark night Day two we headed to Denmark by ferry it was a foggy crossing but quite mild, glad we didn't need the lifeboat though Kong Asgers Hoj was the first stop when we reached the island Moen followed by Sprovedyssen Klekkendehoj was nextcomplete with a surprise inside! Gronjaegors Hoj nearby was the last stop on this island then it was onto the Boego ferry back to Falster where we spent some time exploring Halsted Vaenge with its collection of monuments not all are complete or as big! of course we then had to catch the ferry back to Germany our accomodation was next to Reimershagenersee using very comfy bungalows This pair seem harmless! Schwerin provided Sunday's lunch stop now thats what i call a nice lunch we had time to relax watching the historic boat racing and exploring the schloss but being an archaeology trip we had to end things with more stones near Zulow before heading back home.
